Civil Society and Internet Governance: Multi-Stakeholder Engagement Practices from Southeast Asia and Beyond

• Objective: Participants will be able to know and understand about the best practices and strategy of civil society to initiate engagement with their local internet governance dialogue and process.

• Description: The section will be structured in 120 minutes presentations, followed by 60 minutes interactive questions and answers from the floor. Several prominent persons from HIVOS, ID-CONFIG and their partners will share the knowledge about the strategy to initiate transparent and accountable of the internet governance process through multi-stakeholder approach as well as enhancing the roles of civil societies. The session has been designed for general participants, with no technical background required.
